The Travelling Film Festival Comes to Cairns 19-23 October 2012

This spring, you can catch the latest cinematic offerings from around the world when the Sydney Travelling Film Festival returns to Cairns from October 19-23.

The festival will treat film fans to the best in world cinema, showcasing releases from Argentina, Hong Kong, UK, USA, Germany, Spain, Sweden, France, and Lebanon as well as a few home-grown offerings.

The packed program features 13 films, with something for all tastes to enjoy. Highlights include the premier of multi-award winning Aussie comedy Not Suitable For Children, The
Angel’s Share, which took away the Jury Prize at Cannes 2012, documentary Searching For Sugarman, Russian noir Elena, and quirky comedy Bernie, starring Jack Black.

The critically acclaimed films will be screened at Cairns City Cinemas, within easy reach of our Cairns Beaches accommodation. Come along and check them out for yourself this October!
