A Night Out In Cairns

Cairns night-time scene is as spectacular as its white sandy beaches and dense tropical rainforest. Here are just three of the bars and clubs to check out on a night out in Cairns.

Green Ant Cantina
Now a local institution, Green Ant Cantina offers a wide selection of boutique beers, fantastic wines, brilliantly creative cocktails and delicious Mexican fusion cuisine. Share a fishbowl margarita with your mates and chill out to sets from up and coming local DJs, or play a game of pool in the games room complete with floor cushions and colourful graffiti art.

 The Woolshed
The award winning Woolshed Char Grill and Saloon Bar is Cairns number one party venue, offering fun nightly events, fantastic drink deals and an affordable menu. The two level saloon bar and club attracts a friendly crowd of local fun lovers and back packers and is open until 5am Friday to Saturday.

PJ O’Briens
Dine in and dance the night away at PJ O’Briens, Cairns favourite Irish pub. Enjoy a quiet pint and a plate of beef and Guinness pie in the afternoon; catch a live band in the evening and laugh and party with the locals into the night.
